Darren's career in Financial Planning began in 2002 working with a number of schools and teachers in the Mackay area. The strong connections and friendships from his previous career as a teacher enabled him to easily connect and communicate with people on many different levels, and he is thankful to have many of his early clients still with him today.
Darren holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services as well as Certificates in Mortgage Broking, Margin Lending and Geared Investments.
Darren's greatest enjoyment is spending time with his family. Fishing is a family passion and is a great way to relieve the stresses of work commitments. Darren is married with 2 children who love travelling, holidaying and camping at every opportunity as much as he does.
